Independence Day celebration is Sunday, July 3
A very special Sunday – On Sunday, July 3, we’ll be celebrating America’s birthday with special patriotic music, a salute to our military families, an all-American picnic and a special message of hope from Pastor Bob, “A Declaration of Dependence.” There will be one all-church family service at 10:45 am, followed by the picnic at noon. It’s a great time to invite a friend, a military family or a family member.
Picnic! Picnic! Picnic! – Join with your church family and new friends for our great All-American Picnic. Enjoy the festivities with picnic games, karaoke, and cool picnic games for the kids. This year enjoy special live music from our own talented Creative Arts musicians, playing patriotic, Americana and jazz standards. Bring your own picnic lunch, or purchase picnic meals for just $5 each.
Wheels On Parade – Families are invited to participate in the 2nd annual Wheels on Parade. Kids – decorate your bicycle, trike, stroller, scooter, or wagon with lots of creative, patriotic flair. Then show off your creation “on parade” around the picnic area. Don’t miss it!
Picnic meal tickets – This year’s picnic menu includes a turkey sub, choice of chips, snack item, soda or water and ice cream dessert. Tickets are available in the lobby for $5 each.
Meal free to military families – As a token of our appreciation for their service, the meal is offered free of charge to our active military and their immediate families. |
