When do Small Groups meet?
Our "Core" groups, which are sermon based disussion groups, meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at locations throughout San Diego. Other types of groups also meet, most on a weekly basis, both on campus and off-campus.
What happens at Small Groups?
Our Small Groups are a welcoming place where both the first-time guest and the longtime attender feel eqully at home. It's a place to relax and be yourself.
A typical small group begins with a time to talk or enjoy a snack, followed by guided discussion about the evening's topic.
Are all groups the same?
While groups follow a recommended pattern, each group is also unique. Some may include refreshments, worship, special events or time to hang out after the meeting.
What other small groups are offered?
Our " Freemarket" groups are typically based on a common life stage or interest (such as women's groups, recovery groups, etc.) and provide their own unique content. A list may be found in the Small Group Directory.
Do you have to be a church member or a Christian to attend?
No. We trust each group can be a place of mutual friendship and discovery, both for regular attenders and new friends alike.
