Church office closed Friday

The church office is closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Special service, picnc celebrate Independence Day weekend

A very special Sunday – On holidays, which of your friends might welcome an invitation to church for services especially crafted for the celebration? On Sunday, July 5, we'll have the opportunity to celebrate our Independence Day weekend with special patriotic music, a salute to our military families, and a message of hope for America from Pastor Bob, “The American Trilogy.”

All-American Picnic on the Green – Don't miss a time to join with friends old and new for our great All-American Picnic on the Green. Enjoy picnic games, karaoke and music by Freedom, First Assembly's own men's quartet and instrumental ensemble that will stroll the green singing traditional American tunes. Bring your own picnic lunch, or purchase burger meals by our own Chef Larry for just $5.

Buy burger meal tickets at church office - Our sirloin burger meal includes a 1/3 pound sirloin cheeseburger, Chef Larry's special recipe baked beans, chips, beverage, dessert and all the fixin's. As a token of thanks, the meal is offered free of charge to active military and their immediate family members. (Voucher required; call church office to reserve.) Tickets are available for $5 each.

Abiding Place Sunday class continues Exodus study

No book of the Bible compares to Exodus when it comes to epic drama and the grandeur of a powerful and just God. Class leader Vijaya Atluru blends her investigative intuitions as a physician with her passion for introducing believers to a deeper relationship with Christ. For all ages, the class meets from Sundays from 9 – 10:15 am in the Fellowship Center , room FC 106.
